Profil: DJ Merry :-) (Evil Knivel Rec. / Spontaneous Aerobics / Berlin)
STYLE: Kicking Psychedelic Trance – from FullOn till DarkPsy – for night & day // Psy Down Chill Grooves MAIL: merry@merryspace.de URL: www.merryspace.de Ich, Marian aka Merry:) wurde im Sommer 1978 in Dresden (East Germany) geboren. Durch ein Tape, was mir ein Partygirl schenkte, bin ich von der Vielfalt und Verspultheit des Psychedelic Trance infiziert worden und erfuhr mit der Zeit mehr und mehr von diesem Musik- und Lebensgefühl. Mit der Partycrew Insulin Productions organisierte ich mit Freunden seit 1998 die ersten regelmäßigen PsyTrance-Parties in Dresden. Seit 2004 wohne ich in Berlin, bin in dessen Szene voll involviert und bin Mitarbeiter des Recordstores TribalTools. Zusammen mit DJ´s wie Daksinamurti (Shiva Space Technology), Ant (EvilKnivel Records), Space Daddy (Insulin Productions) and Ralle (Agitato Records) startete ich einige DJ-Projekte ... und spielte bisher auf Festivals wie das SunSplash Festival (IL), SonarPlexus (HU), Indian Spirit (DE), ShivaMoon (DE), Nation Of Gondwana (DE) und auf Parties und Festivals in Israel, Ungarn, Polen, Tschechien, Schweiz und natürlich in Deutschland. Ausserdem bin ich in einem DJ-/LivePA-Projekt involviert namens Space Brothers - ein merry:) DJ Set mit energetischer Percussion Power von MovingTool und einigen anderen verschiedensten Drummern und Live-Effekten. Seit Sommer 2005 spiele ich für das Münchner Label Spontaneous Aerobics und seit Dezember 2006 auch für das neue polnische Label EvilKnivel Records. Mein Traum ist es, die Welt mit DJ-Sets zu bereisen und meine lächelnde Lebensenergie überall zu verbreiten. Von Januar bis Mai 2006 werde ich nach Indien traveln und da mit DJ Daksinamurti auf DJ Tour gehen. Freu mich auf diesen Kick! Merry:) - (fröhlich) dies ist die Beschreibung für die Stimmung, die ich mit meinen DJ Sets auf dem Dancefloor erreichen will. Das Ziel meiner Sets ist es, soviel Energie der treibenden Musik auf die Tänzer zu übertragen, das deren Lächeln auf Maximum strahlt. Gutes Mixen und Märchen erzählende Sets sind genauso wichtig wie der richtige Sound zur richtigen Zeit. In der Nacht liebe ich es, kickenden antreibenden düsteren PsyTrance mit großem Grinsen zu spielen. Tagsüber bevorzuge ich es eher, intelligenten Morning- GoaSound mit Sonne von innen und Sonne nach aussen zu spielen, welcher aber trotzdem die Nervensysteme der Tänzer berührt, soweit, bis es eine große Ausschüttung aller Glückshormone gibt. Dann bin ich auch als DJ glücklich ;)
Marian aka Merry:) was born at summer 1978 in Dresden (East Germany). My first contact with Psychedelic trance was a tape which gave me a crazy partygirl. This tape infected me and therefore my wish of Djing was growing bit by bit. With my party crew Insulin Productions I organized the first PsyTrance parties in Dresden since 1998. I´m living in Berlin since 2004 and am involved in that psy scene and working for the recordstore TribalTools . I started few different dj projects together with DJs like Daksinamurti (Shiva Space Technology), Ant (EvilKnivel Records), Space Daddy (Insulin Productions) and Ralle (Agitato Records) ... and playing on such festivals like SunSplash Festival (IL), SonarPlexus (HU), Indian Spirit (DE), ShivaMoon (DE), Nation Of Gondwana (DE) and on parties and festivals in Israel, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland and in whole Germany. I´m also involved in a live PA project named Space Brothers – a merry:) dj set with energetic percussion power by MovingTool (EvilKnivel Records) and together with some other drummers. Since summer 2005 I´m playing for the label Spontaneous Aerobics from Munich / Germany and since end of 2005 I also play for the new Polish label EvilKnivel Records. My dream is to travel the world with my dj sets and spread my smiling life energy to all human mentalities... From January till May 2006 I will travel in India and will go on DJ tour together with DJ Daksinamurti and some liveacts... Look forward for this boom! Merry:) - this is the description of the mood which I want to reach by my sets on the dancefloor. The target for my sets is to give so much energy by the music tribe for the smile on maximum runs. Good mixing and a fairytale telling set are important like playing the right sound for the right time.. In the night I play kicking forward dark psytrance mixed with a big smile:). And for the day I prefer to play intelligent morning goa sounds with sun inside and to spreading outside,which also touches the nervous systems and the synapses allows to thrash what, besides, tipping out all luck hormones will cause. Then I´m gonna be also happy as DJ ;) Charts & Referencies will follow in next time...
